Make $10K in a Weekend with These 5 Steps

You’ve probably heard it before—the fastest way to make money is through relationships. While this is certainly true, what if there was a way to make ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in one weekend? Well, there is! The key to making that kind of money quickly is by building relationships and solving big problems for high-value people with deep pockets. Here’s how you can do it.

Step 1: Identify Your Target Audience

Before you can start solving problems and building relationships, you need to know who your target audience is. Think about the types of people who have the most money but also need solutions to their biggest problems. Are they entrepreneurs? CEOs? High-level executives? I consistently find myself doing this when I'm looking for the right targets. Once you identify your ideal audience, you can move on to the next step.

Step 2: Get In Front Of Them With an Offer They Can't Refuse

Once you know who your target audience is, it’s time to do whatever it takes to get in front of them. Now when you get in front of them you want to pitch them on why they should work with you. It's important that your pitch stands out from the crowd and really speaks to their needs. Here is where you want to build massive amounts of value. Keep in mind that the more personal and tailored your offer is, the better chance you have of dropping a hook in them and getting their attention and closing them. This step is one of the most critical steps to your success. I remember there was a gentleman I read an article about who did billion dollars in sales in his first 3 years of running his title insurance company. I created an air-tight pitch on how I could help and learned that he would be at this political conference in New York. I got in of him and hit him with my pitch. Next thing I know we were exchanging phone numbers and setting up a date to jump on a call. Just like that I was rocking and rolling.

Step 3: Create Value Through Relationships

Now it's time to build a relationship with your potential client, your new strategic partner, or customers. With that being said, always remember that value is always determined by the recipient and never the person who gives it. There is no greater value you can give to someone than solving a problem that someone is having but a good indicator that I used to make sure I'm giving value is the PCC metric. PCC stands for produce, collaborate, and contribute. As long as I'm doing one of these three things or even all three I'm pretty sure that there's some sort of value I'm giving in that relationship. This will help build trust between both parties and increase the chances of you becoming their "go-to-person".

Step 4: Deliver Quality Results

Now that you have established a relationship with your potential customers or clients, it’s time for delivery! Be sure that whatever product, service, or solution you promised them meets all of their expectations—and then some! If possible, try to exceed those expectations so that they are impressed not only with your results but also with how quickly they were delivered (this will come into play in the future in positioning you one step closer to becoming their go-to person).

Step 5: Reap Your Rewards And Unlock Unlimited Opportunities

Now comes the fun part—getting paid! Once all of the above steps have been completed successfully, it’s time to close the deal and collect your payment. When you deliver results or value there is nothing wrong with getting a piece of the value that you created in money. Don’t be afraid to ask for more than what was initially agreed upon; after all, if they're happy with what you delivered then why not get as much as possible out of it? Remember—relationships are always key when doing business so don't be afraid to ask for more than what was initially agreed upon (with good reason). And once everything has been finalized, bask in the glory of having made $10k in just one weekend! I did exactly this when I got in front of a celebrity who had a great business idea. I put together a step-by-step plan of action for him. Which later grew into a partnership and his new company is on its way to doing over $40 million in 12 months. By personally following these principles, I made sure that I get a piece of the value I created back in money.

Making $10k in one weekend may sound impossible but it isn't—it's achievable if done correctly! By identifying your target audience, offering personalized solutions tailored specifically for them, creating value through relationships, delivering quality results quickly and efficiently, and finally asking for payment after everything has been completed successfully; making $10k over a weekend isn't just possible—it's easy! So go ahead—give it a shot! You won't regret it!
